Multiple domains pointing to same IP don't share cart with multistore setup

Hello everyone,

As the title suggests, I have a multistore setup. Each store has its own unique domain (ex: "storeA.com", "storeB.com", etc), but all of these stores point to the same IP with prestashop 1.6 on them. This works fine, except the cart is not shared between the stores. Just to make it clear, everything works as intended when I change the store urls to something like "store.com/A", "store.com/B". It's just that with different domains it stops working. The problems seems to be that cookies are bound to domain. Does anyone have a work around for this?

I am not aware that multi-store has such a cart sharing feature across the different stores.  Is there something that you can reference that describes how this would work?

cookies work by domain, not ip, hence cart sharing as implemented with cookies would not work as described.

You can share orders and customers, but not carts, as El mentioned, they are bound to a domain as they work with cookies
