BlueBell
Everything was great until yesterday, I never had any issues with this before. Now, when I upload images for products, they show oversaturated. Yesterday I had the same issue with one image and by deleting it and re-uploading, the issue was gone. Today, I re-uploaded several times and it keeps showing oversaturated. How can I fix this? Here's what the product looks like on my site: And this is what the image should look: Edited June 14, 2014 by BlueBell (see edit history)
dioniz
That's weird! Are you tagging your images with sRGB Edited June 14, 2014 by dioniz (see edit history)
BlueBell
Yes Dioniz, they're all sRGB images.
BlueBell
I also get an error when uploading images, about every other image gets this error and I need to upload again. This is the error message I get: NETWORK_ERR: XMLHttpRequest Exception
BlueBell
Another image looks even worse (the lab dog). Here are the screenshots. The giraffe I uploaded earlier came out correctly, the way it should be. But now images get oversaturated. BlueBell
Seems like the system is working properly right now. Let's hope it'll continue until I upload everything. Fingers crossed!!
dioniz
I read somewhere that sRGB could be a problem. What software you use for image handling?
BlueBell
I use Photoshop. I read in many sources that sRGB mode works best for websites specifically because it handels colors correctly. But so far, the system is working well again, knock on the wood, let's see if that'll continue. I'll let you know if I have the same problem again.
