How to hide the top parent category in mega menu (Prestashop 1.6.0.6)

Hi,

 

Can someone please help me to achieve this:

1. Is there any way to hide the top parent categories of the mega menu dropdown for mobile version of Prestashop 1.6.0.6 default theme? They still show up in mobile even when the "Show name parent category" is set to NO.

2. How to enable the sub-categories to automatically fill the columns by fixing the number of items (sub-categories) to be displayed in the column as shown in the attached picture.
