Can't read CSV Export Template Files

When I download the export CSV files from the categories, products, etc, there is a formatting error with my Excel 2010 version. 

 

Here's the issue:

Then when I try to open the CSV file:

It says my file is in a different extension, and to verify the source. I just pressed yes and continued on from there.

 

Then when I view the excel file:

I've never had this problem before opening a CSV file on Excel. I tried opening it up on googledocs and the same problem happened. It isn't reading the ";" to seperate into different columns

 

Is this an Excel issue or is this a Prestashop problem? How can I go about fixing this?

Use comma (,) as a field separator and semi colon ( ; ) as multiple values separator.
