rvzoest Posted June 11, 2014 Share Posted June 11, 2014 I have recently finished a webstore with 200 products with PS 1.6 however sometimes the performance is a bit laggy. I have updated all variables and checked with my webhoster and now it runs reasonable smooth. However, I want to build another webstore with more than 40000 products and I know Prestashop can handle that however... Does anybody has some experience with this amount of products and what should I know about the configuration with my webhoster? Thanks in advance all! pets11 Posted June 16, 2014 Share Posted June 16, 2014 No to the 40,000 but I'm building a shop with over 20,000 items currently loaded, fwiw. I'm running a tmz VPS server, 8 cores, 4 gigs of ram, apache, fastcgi, apache booster, xcache, apc, mariadb,...took a lot of tweaking... compress and cache everything... just opened the front page on a new tab and it loaded in under 2 seconds.
