airbusecam
Hi all I'm not a programmer at all, I just follow instructions, so I had presta 1.5.6.2 I think it was, so after following all the instructions I upgraded to 1.606. So I clear the cookies, cache and history of my browsers, now I go to login into the back office, the login screen appears, I input the details, hit enter, then nothing but a white page. Is there anything I can do, with very basic skills to correct this. Regards Phil

airbusecam
I would do if I knew what to do, I have FTP and I know how to access files and to get to edit them, but I don't have the knowledge to actually edit them, but I can follow instructions. elleonard
Hi, first check this: http://www.prestashop.com/blog/en/the-500-internal-server-error-explained-solved/ Then if you issue is: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home/..../classes/controller/AdminController.php on line 3101 Try this solution: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/338268-1-click-upgrade-from-1606-to-1607-admin-screen-not-shown/ It worked for me. El Patron
ok, when 'ever' you get blank page turn on errors as suggested above, it would take a simple search to find out how. so drop and give us 20 config/defines.inc.php define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true); set back to false when done once you have the error you can search on that looking for similar issue and hopefully make quick work of it
