nspinheiro
Hello I will need to make some upgrades and new theme to the shop and i have some doubts that i can't understand a clear answer on the other topics, so i will try to make very straight forward questions: 1) Can I install a brand new installation pointing out to the existing database? The idea is to keep using and updating the database and when the new design is ready, just redirect the client and everything is there and updated... will this work? 2) I am also preparing integration with my ERP through webservice... Is it best to: a. Make it on current site, adjust everything and the use it to the migration b. Make it only on the new site has a clean installation (In this case i would need at least to import from the old site the clients order history, is it possible?) I know that there is some topics about this, but at least i am not being able to identify a straight answer to this.

NemoPS
...? You cannot use a 1.5 db on a 1.6 version, for how similar they might be. You have to autoupgrade the 1.5 version to 1.6...OR manually go through every database column/table and check differences. But this would be...long
