As you can see I've started to create some categories, they show on front office, but on the product page even when I click to show all categories, only the Home category shows. It Appears it's not calling the categories on page load, as I'm get not errors from the site. After upgrading from PS 1.4.7.3 to 1.6.0.6 I've noticed that not all of the categories are displaying in the Back Office. The main categories show, but only 5 or 6 have subcategories, but they are empty. vekia Posted June 20, 2014 Share Posted June 20, 2014 message is related to facebook like box configuration it uses app id created by prestashop, and facebook app configuration doesnt allow to use app on page where it is used. this is why this message appears, it's not error - it's only notification from facebook anyway, it's wrong and bad, but it can't affect categories. Hello and thank you all that try and help me with the Category not showing on the products page, I finally find the problem and fix it. it appears that all created Categories must belong to the Home Category. If I add a new root Category, it is accessible to be added to the top horizontal menu, but it will not show under Categories when adding or editing a product. So, I added a new Category and place it under Root -> Home -> My Category and it works fine, now I can select it on the products page and it is accessible on the front office.
