GrandNagus
Hi, Discovered a major flaw in how taxes work in Paypal. My shop is set up for New Zealand only. There is NO option when entering a shipping or payment address in my shop to select anything other than New Zealand. However once the customer has checked out and selected to pay through Paypal, they can then select their Paypal address. In this case the paypal address has the incorrect country as Australia. So Paypal did not collect any taxes, and now I am short 15% GST. This should not be possible if you have country delivery restrictions. Paypal module should collect amounts give to it by Prestashop, not decide on its own what taxes to charge. How can I stop this in future? bellini13
You can review this issue at the following URL. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16786740/how-do-i-prevent-the-user-to-change-the-shipping-address-or-instant-update-call Basically you need to alter the paypal module so it sends ADDROVERIDE=1. This will prevent the customer from being able to change the address that Prestashop sends to Paypal.
