Product Sort Not Working

I am unable to get the 'Sort by' function to work on my website.

My theme developers say it is a problem with the slider js.

The Slider module developer says that it has nothing to do with this.

 

Does anyone know how to fix this or which module/script might be causing the issue?

 

These are the replies I received. Which one is correct?

 

Theme Developer:

"Because you have installed other module (slider image on category page) It's wrong js.

Slider Module Developer:

"Very strange answer from your theme provider..

This code isn't part of Magic Toolbox module.

 

Moreover, I don't think this JS error may somehow break ‘Sort by’

functionality."
