Goodday,

 

id like to have a promotion on my site when mycleint buys a exact number of goods.

 

i sell single items but buy them in a box of 300. if my client buys the 300 in one pack then i give him a 25% discount

 

if he buys 301 items then he gets no discount

 

so the discount is only on multiples of 300 and different depending on the multiple

 

example:

300,600,900 = 25% discount

1200, 1500, 1800 ..... = 50% discount

 

where could i change the way prestashop evaluates the promotions (cart rule)

Hi Leap-IT,

Maybe make really a pack of 300 pieces,

 

 

 

You can then give a special price (in the price tab) for quantity of 1 or more = 25%

and for a quantity of 4 or more = 50%.

 

For single products you just don't give any discount. You can mention that packs of 300 can be bought with special discount and then add a link to the pack in the product description...

 

Just an idea.
