Does the upgrade from 1.5 to 1.6 will affect my theme?

I am currently using 1.5.6.2 and  I am thinking of upgrading to 1.6.

I have already backed up files and database. I'm thinking of using the automatic upgration through 1-click-upgrade module.

I am not using the default theme but another one(Leo Themes).

 

My question is:

If I'll do the upgrade, will this affect my theme? I have already saved any css modification that I have made.

in 1.6 all javascript is moved to the bottom this may (read probably) have an affect on pre 1.6 templates

 

you can find out more easily by creating a subomain (or localhost) of your production shop.  Then you can test impact if any before converting production.
