Can we add a field in manufacturer block of prestashop?

Hi All,

 

I want to add a additional field in the manufacturer section of product and on the basis of that I will list them on front office home page.

 

Can anyone let me know if there is any simple way to do it?

 

I have read all the threads related with this topics in which changes have made in the core scripts and I don't want to change core scripts is there any other method to do it? If yes then please let me know that.
