Andron777
ok, do I have to change every folder to 777? at the moment foder "img", "p" is set to 777. Or all folders inside p also must be 777? There are many folders
CartExpert.net
Hi. Yes, all folders should be writable. You should rather discuss with you our hosting provider, because folder permission should be 755. They can help you out with this and they can also mass-update the permissions. Regards.Robin.The CartExpert Team
Andron777
Hello, Thank you for your suggestion! I will try to get in touch with hosting support. However i tried doing same operation on a demo site, all foder permission is set to 755, and the regeneration works fine!!!

Andron777
hello again, well I did change the CMOD to 777, I used SSH command. But after trying to regenerate images i get the same error: Cannot write "No picture" image to (products) images folder. Please check the folder's writing permissions. "No picture" what this means? Maybe it does'nt find a "NO Picture" file and this is why it breaks the operation? I found similar question: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/117953-cannot-write-no-picture-image-to-categories-images-folder-please-check-the-folders-writing-permissions/ Also not yet SOLVED. CartExpert.net
If the file didn't exist the message should be it wasn't found. Your error says unable to write, not unable to read. Your problem could also be with the file / folder ownership. See this link: http://www.valuevps.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=128&p=134&hilit=permissions#p134 Regards.Robin.The CartExpert Team

CartExpert.net
Ok. Having checked the source file, this error message is misleading. You will get this error whether you have right permissions or not. Check if you have the 'no-image' files .e.g.:- img/p/en-default-home_default.jpg Regards.Robin.The CartExpert Team
