I have tested this in my working shop as well as on a fresh install on another domain which had no modification at all done to it. It seems that the cart is not taking into consideration the shipping rate that is assigned via carrier. As you can see from my screenshot the only thing that actually shows up in the shipping section is the handling price that is assigned but no actual shipping charge. I am really not sure of what I am doing wrong. I did the prestashop install from within my hosting providers (Namecheap) control panel for both domain. I am in process of uploading a prestashop install via ftp to further test on but in the meantime if someone could help me with this I would be very grateful. mpouliot34
Here is another update. Really ws hopping to get the site up and ready to go live this weekend but I won't be able to do that without being able to charge shipping ;( I have tried to install the USPS module and it installed fine I made sure to give the prices in the carrier as they were set to $0 ( strange becasue I thought this module would pull actuall data from USPS but what ever. I am still ONLY seeing the FREE shipping option and whentrying to do check out I get the dreaded There is 1 error There are no carriers that deliver to the address you selected. No carriers available for the address "My address". Anyone have any idea on what could be wrong? I do not have advanced stock option on so it is not related to a warehouse location. Dh42
If you want to pm me back office access to the shop I can check it out and get it working. Also, if you want more than one carrier set up, let me know the ranges and the costs.
mpouliot34
So I actually figured it out. I had Canada and United States selected as my zones and in my Countries but never realized that they were set as North America if you go to the Edit section of the Countries so once I change that it started working. Took me a while but yay.

mpouliot34
Just read your post and you are a DARLING. How on ever "advanced stock management" can influence on carrier I will Never understand, but when removed like you were talking about --I CAN CHOOSE CARRIER IN FO THX I mentioned I did not have the advances stock management on because other topics with the shipping issue were mentioningthat this might be an issue which was not the case for me. cheapweb
I know but that gave me an idea to turn that off and then it worked. It goes to show that if someone is going to use "advanced stock management" it is very important to set a default warehouse, otherwise carriers dont work. This might help others with same problem about carriers not showing.
ricardogmr
mpouliot34, can you please tell me exactly (step by step), How did you fix this error? I'm almost sure I have everything done, but I still get this error with all my carriers. Thank you.
