venta7
Hi, I'm looking for something like the following module (plugin): http://www.product-attribute-pictures.com/ I like its functionality of combining two images together. Unfortunately can't find anything similar for Prestashop or I'm not looking at the right place. Please, let me know if similar module already is available for Prestashop 1.6. I would like the functionality to merge a jpeg and a png together dinamically upon request. This will be very usefull for the store I'm trying to configure: The products are paintings having as attributes different frames. There will be 10 up to 20 frames to choose from for each of the 300-400+ paintings. I would like to display as a default product image the painting unframed and offer as a different combination the available frames. If the client select a frame from the attributes, then an image of the painting framed with the relative frame should be displayed. My option right now is to create products with different combinations (ex.: no frame, white frame, black frame, etc.) and upload for each combination different image that I have to create manualy through image editing software. First of all it will take a lot of time and secondly I will end up with a lot of images (min. 3000) and a lot of wasted storage space. Is it possible to have images for each attribute and stack (overlay) the product image and the selected attribute image on top of each other? That way I'll need only about 300 images to accomplish the same final result. (both will be png images, or a jpg and png) Does such module with this functionality exist for Prestashop 1.6? And if it doesn't where should I start from in order to have this functionality of combining to images? What to use CSS' z-index, GD 2, or ImageMagick? I'll greatly appriciae any clue and help how to accomplish this. I'm not sure how Allposters.com has done it, but this is the result that I'm after. Thank you!

tomerg3
Check out Attribute Wizard Pro's Layered Attribute Images http://demo.presto-changeo.com/1605awp/index.php?id_product=14&controller=product Module at http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/47363-module-attribute-wizard-pro-create-unlimited-attributes-combinations-choose-frm-7-input-types/
venta7
@neouy Nope, I havn't found a solution yet, but I see that @tomerg3 is providing a link to a module that could do what I need. @tomerg3 - Tnx for the suggestion, deffinately I'll check it out. I have a question though: With Attribute Wizard Pro's Layered Attribute Images can I use (re-use) attribute images all over again and again? What I mean by this is that I would like to have a certain image for each attribute that I want to use for multiple products. I Don't want to polute Prestashop's file system by uploading the same attribute images for multiple products (300+). Doesn't make sense to me to not be able to reuse already uploaded images. It can save a lot of time and storage.
tomerg3
Layered images are associated to attribute values, not combinations, so once an image is assign to attribute, any product that uses that attribute will have the image.
venta7
@tomerg3 I've been testing the module on your demo site. I couldn't find how to set up the attribute image size to match the product image. The thing is that product image and attribute images are the same size, but when the images are too big Prestashop size them down. This is what happened with the product image, but the attribute images stays at its original size. P.S. I've sent you a screenshot and a link to see what I mean through PrestoChangeo site support form. I'm posting also here since didn't get a confirmation email. tomerg3
The attribute image size must be the same size as the product image on the product page.
