import products shows incorrect values

I have successfully used the iport feature to import products and only have the incgst amount in the import.

My problem is that if there is an amount over 1000.00 it shows up as 1.10 for eg $1455.00 shows up as $1.10.
this odes not hapen to all the amounts as some slip through and show the correct figure but the majority don't.

I have tried just using the exgst instead but have the same problem.
I can attach the file if needed if anyone has a solution
