cosmin.ignea
So, 2 months ago, I used indexed attributes in layered navigation block... I had about 150 products, and 880 pages indexed by google... Now, I disabled indexed attributes in layered navigation block, also, now I have only 60 items... What can I do, to stop google indexing old urls... I still have 880 results in google. Can I remove them through webmaster tools? Does this thing affect SEO in a bad way? Sorry for my bad english.
starsg38
Google will eventually stop indexing the links to pages that are no longer there. If you have some old links that are ranking high in the search results you might want to 301 redirect those pages to some relevant active pages on your site.
