Names
Most of my products are manufactured and don't need any stock management, But a few will need that functionality. As far as I can tell I have to add a fictitious stock number to all of these products? Or is there a way to turn it off and on per product? How should I set this up?? Thanks!!!! Paulito
Hello What about: Back office 》 Preferences 》 Products 》 Allow ordering out-of-stock products 》 Yes Paul
vekia
you can define stock for certain products only on product edit page open "quantities" tab you can define there quantities of product, and you can define quantity only for certain products from your catalog. For all other products define "default" as third option then use option mentioned by Paul above :-)
Names
Ok, I have been allowing orders of out of stock items. How should I deal with "status" to not say "On Backorder" Just disable it on statuses page? Or another way? Thanks again, !!
klopotnik
looking for the same answer I'd like to skip "on backorder" status.. eg customer makes an order of items, which are not on stock 1) if it is bankwire payment method, the order will be set as "payment awaiting" 2) if it is COD method, it will get to "preparation in progress" any idea how to do it?
