You don't have permission to access /foldername/

Hi to all,

 

I have move the prestashop 1.6 new site from localhost to live server under subfolder but i am getting 403 forbidden error that You don't have permission to access /foldername/

 

I have remove the htaccess permission on folder is 755 and on files 644.I try to give 777 permission on folder but in that case i am getting 500 error internal server error so i revert back to 755.

 

any help.

This is because you have a different path, you need edit manually the database, find the table ps_shop_url and change physical_uri to /foldername/

I have already set the ps_shop_url like domain=mydomain.com and physical_uri=/sacha6/ but still same problem

Ok, also check in ps_configuration the PS_SHOP_DOMAIN and PS_SHOP_DOMAIN_SSL

already checked and its fine with the url and foldername.Do i need to delete only the root .httaccess or inner htaccess which is in classes folder etc also.Because its seems that folder permission does not allow him to enter.

Ok, you have moved to the subfolder /sacha6/, but what are you running in your base domain "your-domain.com" ?
Maybe this have an .htaccess and is causing the blocking the sub-folder

Yes but other prestashop demo sites are working fine in subfolder but version 1.6 has problem don't know what is going on with this folder.

did you delete the .htaccess file?

 

if not, rename it or delete it...

 

then regenerate it by turning on/off or off/on friendly urls.
