Reinstalling a deleted module ?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

We have this problem, we are trying to show our shop with Google Maps, we have inserted all the data in the PS Google Maps section but nothing happens in the site.

Time ago we deleted the "Store module" is this the problem ?

And if, where we could reinstalling it ? I have the original PS on my pc but the store module is a folder, it could be load it also as a folder or it must be only a ZIP file ?

Thanks for answering and sorry for my english

PS

We have PS 1.4.7 version

No, it's not related to the stores module. What do you exactly expect to happen on the site after adding your store to google maps?

As for reinstalling the module, you can simply re-upload the storelocator folder into your main modules folder ;)

Hello, thanks for answering.

We were reading about connecting Google Maps to our site also to help SEO Googlebot although we have not a "physical" shop but only sell on line.

We found the Google Maps on PS and we inserted our company addresse and selected all the option buttons, but in the site we don't see anywhere something about Google Maps that's why we thought it was connected with the "store module" we deleted time ago.

Thanks for the suggestion to upload the store folder with FileZilla we didn't think about it, but doing that will the problem be solved ?

Uhm... what is the exact name of the google maps module you are referring to? In any case the stores page should be accessible no mater what (if that is what you are referring to). Are you using friendly urls? In any case try appending stores.php to the main url, you should be redirected to the 'our stores' page. There should also be a link to it in the cms block module on footer

OK, if we put the url we could see this

http://www.kissene.com/en/stores

where the shop address is shown but Google maps link doesn't appear  :(

We're not meaning a module of Google Maps we did that by >---Tools -- > Stores and inserted the Latitude and Logitudinal coordinates.

At the same time, in the Google webmasters tools we did the same.

I don't know if I'm supposing wrong but we expect that somewhere in our site, maybe the URL we said before "stores", we should see a Google Maps link
