[SOLVED] [version 1.6.0.6] background image change how to?

Hello there,

 

I'm customizing the default theme and I'd like to use a background image.

I added the following code into global.css but I still get a white background with no image:

body{
	background: #fff url(../img/bkg_main.jpg) no-repeat 0 50% fixed;
}

What's wrong with that?
