Product combination is incorrect in shopping cart

My store uses product combinations.

However, when a user adds a combination e.g. a dress in blue color, medium size, what actually gets saved in the shopping cart is different (I cannot even figure out the pattern - it almost seems random).

 

e.g.Try adding a small blue tank top on the following page and a few other cominations, and notice how what acctually gets added to the cart is completely woring - http://harmonybyearthwinds.ca/graphic-tanks/37-eye-of-ra-muscle-tank.html#/color-turquoise/size-medium

 

Any ideas?

Hi jeyjoo,

 

from what i can see, changing the size radio buttons does not update the url hash (if i switch from medium to small the url doesn't update "[...]graphic-tanks/37-eye-of-ra-muscle-tank.html#/size-medium/color-wine" . Look for problems with the updatecombination() function in product.js (not 100% sure of the function name but something like that) or if it is actually being called when the radio buttons are being clicked.

Did you find a solution to this, I am experiencing the same problem for PS 1.6.1.4.

I read somewhere that it could happen because of long product-url's, but I can't reproduce my customers issue.

 

Any ideas on how to fix it would be extremely appreciated.
