sureshk2n
Hi, I wanted to create a tax rule with combined taxes. For. Ex, I created 2 TAX entry, VAT 5% and CESS 1%. then I create a tax rule named "VAT 5 and CESS 1" with following taxes. VAT 5% - Behaviour: Combine , Country : INDIA, State: ALL CESS 1% - Behaviour:Combine , Country : INDIA, State: ALL Then I create a product and if i try to apply a tax rule "VAT 5 and CESS 1", it needs to calculate for 6% totally but it calculates only 1%. Could you please tell me whats wrong? Thanks

tuk66
Do you have set the "CESS 1%" rule for some country or country+state combinations? Can be that this rule is applied instead of the "VAT 5% and CESS 1%"?
maxdml
I answered my question which was, I think, quite similar, by doing the following (I was not understanding well prestashop tax rules): 1) Create a Tax rule 2) Create a new rule, for country A, associated with tax 1. Set the behaviour to "combinate" or "one after the other" 3) Create a second rule, for country A, associate it with tax 2, and set the behaviour again. ==> Final price will either combinate the 2 taxes or apply one tax after the other. I think you can do it for as many tax you wish to.
