vekia
you have to use ssl for domain, if you've got ssl only on: https://securexxx.ho...r.com/~username it means that you have to use this address as an address of your store it will not work if you will use your domain: www.loco1hobby.net. if you want secured connection to shop with domain www.loco1hobby.net you have to use ssl for this domain, any other will not work. vekia
it's not good idea, you will lose all seo. the idea of ssl is to create secured connection to website. ssl certificates can be installed to domain. so, if you will use https://securexxx.ho...r.com/~username as a shop domain each customer which will open your website with: www.loco1hobby.ne domain will be redirected to https://securexxx.ho...r.com/~username in prestashop you can't use two domains at the same moment, you have to decide if you want to use original domain, or secured from hostgator. to be honest, if i were you i will bought ssl forloco1hobby domain. to much to lose... keitaro
ok thanks. i was hoping the shared could be used as per normal ssl but clearly not. I`ll prob look into upgrading in the future in my hosting plan.
