stoosh
A quick easy question I think. We have a physical shop, with many products, not all of which are in stock, but they can be delivered within 24 hours. When setting up a product, do we set the quantities to "0" and set the product stock to "Allow ordering of out-of-stock products" of do you set each product quantity to a high number like 1000? Thank you.
Paulito
Good morning If your "out of stock" products can be delivered in 24 hours then you may as well use "allow ordering of out of stock products", if you use some sort of stock control system it will be a problem either way. Just make sure you do not offer a "same day" delivery Paul

I have noticed that if I "allow ordering of out of stock products" an email is automatically sent containing the follow. "Unfortunately, one or more items are currently out of stock. This may cause a slight delay in your delivery. Please accept our apologies and rest assured that we are working hard to rectify this." What should I do?
