I have followed the instructions to create a sub-directory on my website.  I copied all of my current prestashop files to that sub-directory and created a new database and edited config to point to that new database. 

 

The problem is that I cannot login to that sub-directory URL.  I am running 1.5.0.5

What happens when you try and log in?

i bet on cookies problem in browser.

clean browser cache and let us know if this help

my live store url is www.agun4you.com, my sub-domain is ag4u.agun4you.com,  when I go to that url it puts me in the primary website www.agun4you.com

Delete the .htaccess file in the new directory.

I tried a different browser with cleared history and it still goes to the primary live site.

Did you delete the htaccess like Bill Dalton suggested? You can do it via FTP and then regenerate the htaccess by toggling the Friendly URL option in Back Office.
