Where and how to upload images

Hi all

I have run out of space with my host for images (php images) even after I have resized them all, but still have 1000's of MB free.

I have been adding each item individually through BO and inputting the data and uploading the image. This is time consumming and I'm only 1/2 way through my product listing.

Can anyone suggest how I could put the images somewhere else but still have everything work correctly and how I could input all my data and images quickly.

I backed up my DB in BO and downloaded it, but when I viewed it in excel it looked alien to me!

I am new to all of this so please keep it simple and thanks for your help in advance!
