Prestashop 1.6.0.5 Combinations Tab doesn't work - Times Out - Server Error

Hi fellows, so I thought they had fixed this bug back on 1.4 but for some reason Prestashop doesn't seem to handle well working with many combinations. Anybody with a solution?

If you were to click on the combinations tab [back office obviously] it simply hags "loading" and displays nothing.

So I tried to delete the product, create another one and add the combinations in two steps but it definitely can't handle, anybody with a solution would be greatly appreciated.

So I get this error when trying to upload at 75 combinations:
 

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

So a quick way around it although NOT a solution is, at least in my case.

 

- Open the generator.
- Add less than 100 combinations.
- The remaining do them manually.

 

It's time consuming but you will not get that timeout error. I believe the system cannot handle well anything over 100 attributes.
