Product attribute not showing correctly

Hi, Having recently upgraded my shop to the latest version everything worked ok apart from my product attributes.

 

My shop sells greeting cards and before the upgrade customers could select the colour of envelope they wanted when selecting the product, the boxes for selection are still there but the colours have dissapeared, any ideas how I can get them back?

 

I have tried re-adding them in the catalog and attribute sections and they show ok in the back office just not live on the website.
