Bill Dalton
Try manually deleting all cache files, prestashop\cache\smarty\compilecache\smarty\cache prestashop\themes\yourtheme\cache
G3Z
Hi Bill, thanks for answering:cache already manually cleaned but no change.
Bill Dalton
This happens to me sometimes just after changing the URL for Shop domain or SSL. Regardless, you should also clean your browser cache, in IE make sure you check clean info for web sites listed as favorite. Or better yet, try a new browser that doesn't have cached files. G3Z
Thanks Bill, after I cleaned my browser cache it worked, but I have to clean each time I change a value, or it doesn't show any change. That's a little bit weird but, anyway, it worked!Solved Edited May 10, 2014 by G3Z (see edit history)
Bill Dalton
Yeah, it may be a server setting that is sending a cache header. If you see this same behaviour from 2 different browsers it could be the host. If you only see it from one browser it may be a browser setting. Regardless I'm glad you have a workaround. robbie007
I've got a simular issue. When I turn CCC (for css) off it does not work in the front end. All css is still combined. Site is a sub-domain (working on a new theme + fresh installation 1.6.9).
Bill Dalton
robbie007, do you have force compile on and a clear cache in performance settings? If not that might be it.
robbie007
robbie007, do you have force compile on and a clear cache in performance settings? If not that might be it. Yes, I did. There is no difference to ON and OFF, Smart Cache For CSS is always ON. That's the problem.
Bill Dalton
This is almost always cache related. Please clear your browser cache and including the form auto fill setting.
