Move prestashop store to new domain

Hi, i will build a new shop in a subdomain and when i finish it i want to move the site to my main domain,

i will delete my actual site and put there a fresh new site

To test it i create a new site on a subdomain, move the folders from my main site to there and change url of my store on urls options in my main site but the images are gone and have a lot of not found urls

 

Anyone know whats the steps to put this to work? Thanks

is the store on the subdomain also in a sub directory? 

 

If your domain is www.example.com, and your subdomain is sub.example.com

 

Then in your subdomain store you need to put the shop url as sub.example.com

But then you might also need to enter the Base URI if your subdomain store is in a sub directory.

 

I would make sure to delete any .htaccess file you have on your subdomain store, and recreate it by saving the SEO and URL page
