My problem is the same but before updating I managed somehow to get it working (watermark 0.8 and 1.6.0.6) while after updating to 0.9 I get that images were successfully regenerated, but all the images are missing the watermark.

The annoying part is that after this problem I checked the update "changelog" of the module and it seems that nothing was touched with respect to 0.8, they only changed the version number to 0.9! Look here: https://github.com/PrestaShop/watermark/commit/ab3a7e4cb72c2ddac4bdcad36068d5ac21707a6e

I don't think so. Are you guys using .gif files for watermark?

Of course I am. However I have just discovered that if I wait a while after i get the message that all pictures were generated... the watermark appears! It's like after the message he has just finished generating the "naked" version and starts the watermark script, so if you check immediately the pictures are without watermark; waiting some other time I go again on the pictures, CTRL+F5 and it is ok.

(for information: something like 3000 products)
