Newsletter feature

Hi,

i managed an eshop under joomla and i used a fantastic component for managing newsletters.

Now i would like to know if something similar exist under prestashop 1.6.

 

in fact i plan to have no more than 100.000 subscribers (first step is to reach 10k, next 50k) and this would be already a record.

 

So maybe prestashop already includes such great tool or needs additional module.

My goal here it's to know if using prestashop as newsletter managing system (for my eshop + website) is not the best solution, it would be great to have your point of view and feedback about it.

 

Maybe an external newsletter management system like mailchimp or similar would be better....who knows.

 

For now, i have a little bit less than 10.000 subscribers "in stock".

My website is in 4 different languages and my eshop (also in 4 languages) should have around 200 virtual products (files).

 

I would like at least to have the following features covered:

- allow creation and management of subscription list (e.g. a list of subscribers per language)
- create and manage newsletters design
- integrate list in eshop during cart checkout e.g.
- integrate into newsletter some products and their description from ecommerce system
- manage subscriber registration using single or double opt-in process
- integration of newsletters with SEO / google analytics
- manage bounce and other delivery email issue like spams, rejection, unsubscription...
- schedule email sending
- responsive newsletters
- manage/import from CSV, XML or other system, subscriber i already have stored somewhere else.

 

i used in the past joomla component and also mailchimp, but migrating eshop to prestashop may offer better solutions for newsletters.

you can install the newsletter module and export csv file from STATS-NEWSLETTER for the subscribers list.
