403 Forbidden

... I was trying to create a static subdomain on my host, and suddenly I get this 403 Forbidden error message when accessing my store, on the default language (pt)

If I try to access with the secondary language /en , it works, but not whit the default /pt.

 

I already undo all the subdomain thing, I didn't tamper with any file... what can I do to have my language back?

The safe way is:

• Go to PREFERENCES > SEO & URLS and switch off the friendly url
• Then delete .htaccess in the root folder where you have installed Prestashop
• Go back to PREFERENCES > SEO & URLS and switch on the friendly url

Did as you mentioned, there is a fresh new .htacess but the error is still there...

 

The problem is that it is missing part of the url ,

e.g.:  you type pintacomigo.com/lojaonline/pt

and the error only shows /lojaonline/pt    (it drops the domain)

 

Any ideas?

When you switch off the friendly url you still see Forbiden or it is working ?

Now, I tried with the friendly url off, and it works! 

When I switch the friendly url on, back it comes, the error!

it is strange cose even you have friendly url off http://pintacomigo.com/lojaonline/pt/ is still forbiden

 

 

do not you have folder with name "pt" in root of the prestashop instalation?

 

if the folder does not exist I think there must be some another rewrite rules on your hosting
