How to add a custom field on homepage products?

Hi

 

I am trying to add a custom product field as in Prestashop 1.5.6.2. I use the new field in product-list.tpl, but only the popular products are affected. Hometab Bestsellers, hometab new products, column best sellers, column specials, column new products see the new field as undefined.

 

When I go to the product-listing pages under category page or on product pages, it is working OK and I can see the new field sucessfully. Only the homepage is problematic.

 

What am I missing?

P.S: I call the new field like {$product.customtext}
