Need to get rid of subcategory images at the top of category pages

There's subcategory images and links showing up at the top of my category pages. I don't want them to display. How do I make them disappear?

in prestashop/themes//category.tpl
delete lines 15-17

this gets rid of the image at the top of a product listing of that category
