How to remove "Free shipping" text from Cart menu?

Recommended Posts

You mean cart not card, I think!

You have to options:

1.In order to hide “Free Shipping” both in your Shopping Cart module and on the Checkout page, it is enough to set the “Free Shipping starts at” option under the Shipping -> Shipping menu to 0 and click “Save”.

Or

2.To completely remove “Free Shipping” from the module, navigate to the themes/theme###/modules/blockcart directory

Open the blockcart.tpl file to edit.

Remove or comment out the following (lines 279 – 285):

I am trying to use your 1st method do disable the free shipping but i cant.

Handling charges: 0

Free shipping starts at: 0

Free shipping starts at: 0

Everything is set to 0 and Free shipping is still enabled?

Thanks Walidon, that solved half the problem.

The 'free shipping' remark remained on a second pop up shopping cart window until I did the following steps, and then at last all the offending words disappeared.

themes > yourthemename > modules > blockcart > blockcart.tpl

1) delete lines 278 to 284 (see attachment)

then, after they are gone,

2) delete lines 145 to 150 (see attachment)
