lak27
Hi All, In my Google Webmaster Tools >Search Appearance > HTML Improvements it says that I have Duplicate meta descriptions: /home/48-men.html /home/48-men.html?bPost=true I know that this "?bPost=true" is the post on the product. Recently I installed Product reviews + Google Snippets. Can anyone know how to get rid of the duplicate description?

lak27
The thing is that this "?bPost=true" is the post on the product. I can remove the description. However, I set up in robotx.txt Disallow: /*bPost=true$ I hope that this will help...
Webricks
Okay that's good, now it depends only on crawling of Google.
Mallee Boy
The Meta description can be left empty if you are concerned. Google is capable of indexing your site and will work out which page is the more important page. You will not likely be penalised for these kinds of duplicates. When Google spots a duplicate, its first reaction is not to penalise but to simply choose the most relevant page to show in the serps. You can help Google out by not linking to the secondary page. Always link to the most important page (your money page).
