Paypal/Payment Security Issue

Recommended Posts

When the button that is circled in red is click in the first image below is click I get the error circled in red in the second image. I have PrestaShop 1.6 installed and all modules are up to date. It does this weather you are logged into the store or not. Anyone know why this is? Anyone else with this problem? Anyone know how to fix the problem? I am referring to paypal payment method. Tank you everyone for your time, effort and help!!! :D

Are you sure you put in the CORRECT info in the paypal module?

a 2 sec google search on your error popped up this :P :

The message "Security header is not valid" is due to bad Paypal API username, password or certificate (PayPal certificate, SSL certificate does not affect the module).
Could you make sure that you did not add a space before or after by making a copy/paste action ?
Be sure that you generate your API access properly : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ho1OefLKbM0
And check that you're using the right API access (there is one for sandbox, one for production).

Thank you Sir. I have re- entered the information again and again. I am having my customer give me a fresh set of credentials for the paypal api user name and pw and signature and paypal business account # make sure its all correct. I am new to the prestashop software I transferred over from opencart and I tell ya I love prestashop a whole heck of a lot better! :)
