mikevalueav Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 (edited) I have recently upgraded from Leo Converse 1.5 to the latest version of prestashop using the default template because i loved how the homepage looked and the product pages look lovely and clean. But when i have done the upgrade it doesn't work the same: http://www.valueav.co.uk/store/ Demo: demo-store.prestashop.com I have done some messing around with modules to get the slider working and some stuff on the product pages which wasnt showing at first so i am sure the stuff i am missing is there somewhere its just finding it. From what i have noticed: I have an extra contact / sitemap in the top right Next to image slider i don't have 2 promo boxes 5 images under the best sellers links (promo boxes i assume) No quick view when you hover over an item No option to have images in my categories No option to not show child categories in my categories when you hover over the "home" word on the top menu Cart and search bar not in line and round the wrong way Footer Newsletter not showing in the bottom bar my Facebook / Twitter links are out of place Store info on the left not the right I will be looking for fixes myself i dont expect someone to come running in like a night in shining armor and fix all this for me. dioniz Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 Ok let's try to do something here: 1. go to BO > Modules, search for Permanent links block and disable if you don't want that there 2. go to BO > Modules, search for Theme configurator click configure add images to Hook Top 3. same as above but add images to Hook Home 4. same as above but enable Quick view 5. ??? 6. go to BO > Modules, search for Top horizontal menu and remove Home and Add new link put label Home and link index.php 7. go to BO > Modules > Positions and check if you have Newsletter block in displayFooter. If not Transplant it to that hook 8. go to BO > Modules > Positions and check order in displayFooter. Itshould be ordered like this: Newsletter block Social networking block Categories block CMS block My account block for footer Contact info block 9. look no. 8 Hope this helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bside2234 Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 Make sure you have the Sort By on the modules page set to Installed and Not installed or Modules not installed.
