[SOLVED] removing subcatories

Currently, when i click on a category on my shop, it goes into another page showing the subcategories. I would like it to display all products within the category without the subcategories. Is that possible?

turn on block layered navigation module.

and from category.tpl file located in your theme directory remove this code:

that helped remove the sub categories, but the products from the subcategories won't show unless i add the association as the main category. I have selected show products from subcategories under the block layered navigation module. Did i do something wrong somewhere?

no you did everything that is necessary

try to clear shop cache and turn on froce compile

check your category page once again then
