Upgrade from 1.2 to 1/6 image problem

Hello.

I just upgraded my shop from 1.2 to 1.6 and everithing seems to be fine, excluding the images.

Seems that images for products remained into the /img/p folder without spliting in folders related to the image id (eg. for id image 56 should be /img/p/5/6/56.jpeg and is just  /img/p/56.jpeg)

What is the fatest solution.

go to the preferences -> image section of the back office and select the "move images" option.  confirm the "legacy image" settings is disabled.

 

Then regen your thumbnails.

This is exactly what I want to do upgrade Version 1.2.5.0   to Presta shops newest upgrade? Can this be done and would I need a professional to do it for me?
