abhey.thareja Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 Hi, I have a few blocks which are still under construction; and i dont want to take my shop offline as it may take some time to collate the information. Hence, I want to add a Coming Soon image. When the customer clicks the link or block, it will open the coming soon image. I want to add this image against a category on the top horizontal menu, and another against the theme configurator (top) image. I have added placeholder sections which i want to build over a period of time, for which i want to add the COming Soon page. For example, if you go to my eshop, www.CarLEDIndia.com, i have the 'Media' category on the top and the 'Gallery' image next to the image slider not working as i am collating content. If you remove the place holders from the menu the problem should be gone. Personally I find it a bit annoying if i click on a menu item just to find a coming soon message. I would add the menu item only if there is something for the customer to see. If you urgently want to show the customer a coming soon message you could create a simple html page (or a coming soon cms page) and link a menu item to this html page while working on the category. I would add the menu item only if there is something for the customer to see. @Prestamax: since i have already made an image adding to the design, and the content is taking more time than expected, that is why require the page. if i take this image off, it will hamper the design of the homepage. I can make the html page; however, how do i link a menu item please? Gallery is part of Theme configurator. Thanks.
