[SOLVED] How to override homeslider module with custom module

I have a module and i want to override homeslider module with my custom module, 
My module should be run on the place of homeslider at index page..

All suggestions are appreciated>>.......

prestashop doesnt allow to override module .php files.

you can only override module .tpl files in your theme directory.

 

if you want to "override" .php file, you have to create different module (code can be the same, but you have to use different class name and module directory name)

there is no other way.

I have created a custom module ,

just disable default slider module and put your module to the position, where the default one is at the moment (modules > positions tab in your back office)

Disables image slider and change hook to displayTopColumn and it works
