tUb26
Hello! I've created a shop on a local server, everything went fine. Today I uploaded the shop to the host privided by the client's hosting provider, and now the shop's image upload functions don't function at all (only at the product images), and the built-in editor's image/media manager is bugging like crazy. I've checked the configuration informations at the backend, and it says that the Optional parameter "magicquotes" is an error (that it is turned on). The version of the PHP on the local server is 5.4.4-14 and by the hosting provider it is 5.3.19. I've read that this feature has been deprecated as of 5.3.0 and removed as of PHP 5.4.0. So my questions are: this feature is causing that the image upload doesn't function? Should I contact the client's hosting provider to turn magicquotes off? Or is there a way to disable it, with only FTP and MySQL access? Thank you for your time and answers.

tUb26
Here are a few examples: This is what I get, when I try to upload in TinyMCE (I've selected an image). This happens, when I try to upload an image to the homeslider module. It means: "No image set". This is what I get, when I try to upload an image to a other slider module. This happens, when I try to upload a logo to a carrier.
