Help on finding skin components?

First time skinning and can't find a tutorial? So mostly trial and error trying to find the modules I am needing to edit.

Where can I find the source code for the general pages?

However, what file is it so i can edit say:

and product view?

They're listed under the default themes dir

ie yourtheme/product.tpl

Sorry for wasting anyones time. A tutorial would not go astray however!
