un delivered mail to gmail

hi 

im currently running a pretashop web site but all status emails from the site to gmail accounts are not being delivered. all emails to other web accounts are automatically delivered fine 

anybody have any suggestions how i can fix this

This actually has to do wih your website's IP adress. So this is a host issue-not PS.

 

The way around it is to "whitelist" the "EMAIL@domain" itself within gmail.

 

Start by sendig an email from your gmail account to the email adress on the domain that you're using for PS.

 

Then reply to that email. Then see if you receive mail from your shop.

 

Let me know.

 

It could just be that the IP you are using is shared and you are being punished for the bad emailing practices of others.

 

You may want to consider a dedicated IP, if this is the case. It's a few dollars a month.

Thanks for the reply. The emails are actually sending fine from our info@domain address when sending them from Outlook, its only the ones that are automated from our website that are bouncing back to us.
