Hi all,

Just wanted to know before upgrading

I run a shop with digital downloads ( at the moment 7.5 GB files )

When i update to the new version, will i have to copy all my 7.5 Gb files ( +500 products)

Or is there a other way that is less time consuming?

Is there an option to upgrade only the needed files and if yes wish files have to be modified ?

Or is there some one who can do the job for me (with 100% guarantee that nothing will go wrong) Send me price in a PM how much you will charge to do the job.

What version are you upgrading from? If you are upgrading from v1.2.4, it is simple to upgrade. Just download the files from this post and upload them to your server, then change line 13 of config/settings.inc.php from:

define('_PS_VERSION_', '1.2.4.0');

to:

define('_PS_VERSION_', '1.2.5.0');

No database changes are required. If you are using an old version of Prestashop like v1.1, it could be a lot more work, since there are a lot more files that need to be overwritten without overwriting any of your existing changes. In that case, you would be better off contacting me so I can do it for you.
