Itinerant
I have Prestashop 1.5.3 in production and 1.6 on my test server. Took database tables referred to categories from 1.5.3 and just copied them into 1.6 database. That seemed to work generally, but now when i create new category, i can not see it in product preferences and can not assign any product to it. I discovered that in database these new categories are created with nleft and nright zero values. I don't know is it my "manual" import that caused this bug... Tried module RegenerateCatTree from here http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/93231-ps-v14-category-table-what-is-nleft-et-nright-for/ but it changed nothing. How could that happen? MontiCliff
Hello, this happens on manual import, even in V1.5 and the php script mentioned didn´t really fix it 100%. Have you tried to export the categories as csv then delete all and re-import ? Monti
Itinerant
Monti, thanks for your idea! But solved that just by upgrading to 1.6.0.6 through 1-click upgrade. After that i edited and saved one category and nleft and nright values recalculated for all categories!
